Professional, Detailed & Outstanding Craftsmanship
I have secured the expertise of Maggio's for roof repairs for many years. There was no doubt about securing their services for a total rebuilding of my 86+ year old roof with new slates. The process from Steve Piccirelli whom I've dealt with for many years to Edgar Ortega, Production Manager(who managed an earlier start date than originally scheduled) was excellent. However, it was the team work of superb craftsmen, Jose Perez, Elmer Roque and Mynor Agustin under the leadership of Luis Agustin that made for the success of this project. These four Craftsmen are efficient, detailed and precise in their craft. They were always on time, respected my property, my safety(checked to see that my gate was locked before they left). Our single family Wardman house built in 1926 in Woodley Park. Over ten years we have had two projects:
Project 1: This past month, Antonio Moscoso sent his team of expert roofers (Walter Marroquin Project Manager), Joel, Luis, Nino, Gabriel, and Elmer), who in two weeks of work (with scaffolding erected) took out all our old shingles and old metal gutters and installed beautiful new grey shingles and copper gutters lining our entire house.
Project 2: Nine years ago Maggio Roofing Co. constructed a new roof above our kitchen where there are 6 skylights. That involved tearing out the old leaking corrugated bitumen roof and installing a new laminated extra strong roof in beige color roof, with its own gutters.
In the recent project, the crew improved the flashing around the chimney flue, and fixed several window sills that were eroded in the top floors. Scaffolding was erected by Access Solutions Co. in a subcontract to Maggio Roofing. The necessary permits were obtained from DCRA. Steve Piccirelli did the estimates in both projects. So this is a company that my wife and I have known for a long time

We’ve now worked with Maggio Roofing and their outstanding team three times as we’ve addressed issues with our late 1800’s home and carriage house. I know we’ll call them again…we’re not quite done yet!
